MAY 2007:
The 55th Metalock International Association Conference was held in Santiago, Chile this year. Another successful conference attended by many Metalock Members from around the world. Technical presentations from us in Australia, Germany, UK, Phillipines, Russia, Holland, Chile were extensive. The hospitatlity and company capacity of Metalock member for Chile [Maestranza Diesel Ltda.] was very impressive indeed.

MARCH 2007:
Thailand Metalock personnel trained at our Melbourne facilty for 6 weeks in basic Metalock techniques and testing pressure and NDT. This structured course sets a minimum level of competency and is in 12 modules [4 are administrative] with practical and theoritical tests.

SEPTEMBER 2006:
A large new lathe has been installed for our jobbing section. Complete with DRO and special tooling / features, it is another tool in our service program.

JULY 2006:
A large new milling machine of greater capacity has been installed for our jobbing section. This enables a
quicker turnaround and is a welcome addition to our existing mills.

MAY 2006:
The 54th Metalock International Association Conference was held in Bangkok, Thailand this year. It was a very successful conference attended by a record number of Metalock Members from around the world. Technical presentations from us in Thailand and Australia, Germany, UK etc were a highlight - as was the hospitality of the Thai people. [Special thanks to Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel Bangkok and Supatra River House restaurant for excellent service]
